“Feeding Therapy in the Schools” will introduce participants to the differing pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and how they impact a child’s participation in the educational environment.  Participants will be educated on the different types of feeding and swallowing impairments and how they can impact a student's mealtime at school.  Multiple treatment strategies and environmental modifications will be reviewed with the attendees and then applied to case studies.  Lastly, the presenter will provide support in thinking of different support models to help provide the best feeding and swallowing interventions for their students.

Jessica Shaw M.S.
