School-Based SLPs face a variety of issues every day. During this study group, participants will discuss an article related to In-Classroom Speech-Language Services. Participants will be encouraged to share what their in-classroom speech-language services look like and the roadblocks and successes they have had with this form of service delivery.
Kim Scharoff, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSHH, SDA is the Supervisor of Speech-Language and Hearing Services for Nassau BOCES. Prior to becoming an administrator, she worked in the public schools as a speechlanguage pathologist. She has experience with a wide variety of ages and disabilities. She is a Past President of LISHA and continues to serve on the Board of Officers. She is the recipient of the 2012 Outstanding Service Award and the 2015 Honors of the Association for the Long Island SpeechLanguage–Hearing Association.
