Universal Design for Learning: Teaching to all Learners through Language and Literacy will focus on the UDL framework (CAST.org) that addresses the teaching for all learners. In this three-hour session participants will take part in the learning and development of informal assessments and interventions that are universally designed for flexibility to be used in-person and in distance-learning. Methods for designing strategies will be presented anticipating the need for alternatives, options, and adaptations to meet the challenges that diverse learners face in the world today. Take part in this UDL electronic hands-on experience that will provide you with the opportunity to engage, express your knowledge, and demonstrate your love of learning through multiple modalities.
